Year 1 - Branch 5 - To the ends of the Earth

Year 1 children will explore key Bible stories, including the Road to Emmaus, the Ascension, and Pentecost, learning how the Holy Spirit changed the apostles and began the Church’s mission. They will retell and sequence these events, discovering how Catholics celebrate Ascension and Pentecost as special holy days. Through art, music, and global traditions, they’ll see how the Holy Spirit inspires people worldwide. Children will also learn the Glory Be prayer and reflect on how Christians share God’s love through words and actions.
