Year 3 - Branch 5 - To the ends of the Earth

 Year 3 children will explore how Jesus revealed himself at Emmaus and sent his disciples to share God’s love with the world. They will discover how the breaking of bread at Mass connects to Jesus’ presence, and learn about the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—as a mystery of love. Through art, prayer, and Scripture, they’ll see how Mary and the early Church prayed together, just as Catholics do today. Children will reflect on how the Holy Spirit guides them, make links between the Eucharist and the Emmaus story, and explore symbols like the Trinity knot, while considering how they too can share the Gospel in their lives.
